Jelliebean Clothier, Inc. was developed in the summer of 2005. We not only wanted to create a business that revolved around babies and children but also create one that represented us as a family. The name of our company is in honor of our first born daughter, Brennen Claire. She was born two days after Easter in 2004, which lead to the creation of her nickname Jelliebean. Having a baby can dramatically change your life.

My husband and I were so set in our schedules that once we discovered we were expecting our first child everything in our life changed. Our once “get up and go” life was now centered on this little creature that demanded so much attention. The kind of attention you give that enables a child to grow and mature. We hope to put the same kind of love, nurture and attention on our business. Because it was named after our daughter, we think of this as a second child. We also hope one day Jelliebean clothier will blossom and grow as a successful business.

Before I became a parent, I had an undying love for babies and children. But after I became a parent, this love grew and exemplified the desire I had to create a business that revolves around children and clothing. I feel that every baby and child is different. As they grow they become their own person, an individual. They have their own thoughts, their own habits, but most importantly their own style.
